10 Slot Bench/Wall Mount
The MCSI Model 9100 Industrial Bench/Wall Mount Chassis is ideally suited for users who
require a ruggedized chassis for use in harsh, space conscious, unattended applications.
Typical applications for the Model 9100 include factory automation, telecommunications, data
acquisition, process control, medical instrumentation and intelligent terminals. The Model 9100
includes an ISA compatible multilayer passive backplane designed to be used with standard
plug-in CPU, display, and I/O adapter boards. The backplane supports up to 10 full length
PC/AT or PC/XT plug-in boards (Optional ISA/PCI backplane). A card hold-down bracket
insures that both PC/AT and PC/XT cards remain seated in high shock and vibration
applications. The drive bay supports up to three half height or two full height 3.5" drive devices. Each drive is individually shock mounted
for rugged applications. A 32CFM cooling fan with removable filter is provided for the main chassis and circuit board areas. The Model
9100 includes a 250 Watt switching power supply with an internal cooling fan and switch selectable 115/230 VAC operation. For
flexibility, the Model 9100 Chassis can be configured with any of the MCSI All-In-One full or half sized CPU boards with or without
disk emulation. The 16 gauge steel construction chassis minimized EMI/RFI interference from surrounding equipment.
