PC/104 Disk Emulator
PROMDISK V-104 is a high performance solid state disk emulator board for
PC/104 compatible computers. The PROMDISK V-104 board can emulate a Read/Write
fixed disk drive with capacities ranging in size from 1MB to 24MB using
on-board non-volatile Flash Memory. It can be configured as a bootable fixed
drive for true DISKLESS operation thereby replacing mechanical disk
drives in systems designed to operate in harsh environments, or where weight
and size are at a premium. PROMDISK V-104 includes an on-board BIOS extension
ROM which contains the Datalight FlashFX® integrated Flash
File Systems and boot utilities. It is fully DOS and Windows compatible,
allowing the user to copy and erase files using standard DOS commands. PROMDISK
V-104 comes complete with Datalight ROM-DOS version 6.22 disk operating
system.
